tatbot draws a self portrait
The arm tattooed its own self-portrait on a forearm, drew on curved surfaces, and met needles in simulation. Three events ahead.
Machine
- tatbot drew a fine-line self-portrait of its own arm on my left forearm. 114 strokes and about 2 m of line from a 3RL needle, over two sittings. The video shows the sketch variants, the stencil, the forearm scan and the tattoo. X YouTube
- Before skin, curved surfaces: the arm drawing a design with a ballpoint on a curved page. X YouTube
Simulation
- A needle-in-skin cutaway from the simulator, then the arm tattooing a Flower of Life on a synthetic forearm. This one is a render, not footage. X YouTube
